1976 Operation Jonathan Israel State Medal
Capture the incredible spirit of a legendary historical event with this genuine 1976 Israel State Silver Medal, issued to commemorate the miraculous hostage-rescue mission at Entebbe Airport. Known as "Operation Jonathan" in honor of the fallen task-force commander, Colonel Jonathan Netanyahu, this magnificent medal represents one of the most daring and celebrated military achievements of modern history. Struck from heavy, high-purity .935 fine silver, it comes housed in its original official presentation box from the Israel Government Coins and Medals Corporation Ltd. The breathtaking obverse displays the Israel Defense Forces emblem intertwined with a sleek military aircraft silhouette, while the reverse powerfully quotes Psalm 18:17: "He sent from above and took me." Don't miss your chance to own a profoundly moving piece of historic silver bullion that beautifully fuses numismatic brilliance with heroic heritage!
