A precious metal assay is a precise analysis used to determine the purity, composition, and quality of metals like gold, silver, and platinum.
GSA will test your items and let you know exactly what it is made of. This takes the guessing & interpretation out of your precious metals. We can pinpoint exactly what percentage of each metal, and pay you accordingly.
If you sell your item(s) to us, this service is free! If you just want to know what it is, there is a very minimal fee.
Pre/Post Purchase Assay Verification

Did you purchase an item (coin, bullion or jewelry) from someone else and not sure if it is real?
You should have bought it from GSA, and supported your local small business, but since you didn't, we can help you verify if it is real or not.
You can also have the seller meet you at GSA, and we can verify BEFORE you buy, but we will give you a hard time for not buying it from us!

For a small fee you can get your item quickly shined up while you wait in store, or give it the ultimate spa experience and drop it off for a deep clean & polish.

Scout Coin Collecting Badge
Gold & Silver Assay- in partnership with Heritage with Heart provides a clean, safe, educational experience for Scouts ages 7-17 to receive their Coin Collecting Merit Badge.
Several classes offered throughout the year- $5.00 and includes a coin collecting starter kit.
