- Diameter: 36–37 mm.
- Obverse: Features the Peruvian national coat of arms. The text includes "REPUBLICA PERUANA," the date, the mint name "LIMA," and the fineness and weight information.
- Reverse: Depicts a seated Liberty holding a pole with a Phrygian cap and a shield with the sun emblem. Text includes "CIEN SOLES ORO" and the weight of fine gold.
