This 1928-S Peace Silver Dollar was struck at the San Francisco Mint during the final years of the Peace Dollar series. With a relatively low mintage compared to most dates in the series, the 1928-S stands out as a better date that is noticeably scarcer than common Peace Dollars. It would have entered circulation during the late 1920s, a time of economic uncertainty that soon gave way to the Great Depression. A solid key date example with real collector appeal.
